About LakePoint Fellowship

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about LakePoint Fellowship and our community. LakePoint Fellowship was established in Lehi, UT in 2008. We hope that after you look through our website and attend a worship service, you will consider becoming a more active part of our growing community of faith.

Led by Pastor Wes Hodges, LakePoint Fellowship offers many ministries for people of all ages and walks of life who are looking to strengthen their relationship with Christ. We offer ministries for children through Adventure and for adults through worships services and Small Groups.

Mission Statement

LakePoint Fellowship seeks to place Christ at the center of all we do.

LakePoint Fellowship seeks to grow commit disciples to Jesus Christ by:

Reaching Up in worship.

Reaching Out to share Christ with those who do not know Him.

Reaching In to help grow people toward deeper commitment to Christ.

Reaching Forward to change the next generation for Christ.

What we believe

1. The Scriptures.

The Bible was written by men divinely inspired by God and is the record of God’s revelation to man. Ultimately, God is the author and therefore what is said in the Bible is true and without error.

2. God.

There is only one God who manifests Himself in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of the world, the redeemer of the world, and the ruler of the universe.

3. Humanity.

Human beings were created in the image of God. As a result, human personality is worthy of dignity and Christian love. Though created in God’s image, that image was marred when humanity rebelled against God and chose to live a life on their own.

4. Salvation.

Salvation occurs when an individual recognizes he is a sinner, believes Jesus Christ died for his sin and rose again on the third day, and as a result, turns toward God and trusts in Him alone to make him the person God wants them to be.

5. Growth.

Every Christian will grow closer to God and as a result will be more like God inside  and outside. Growth will take place in the life of a Christian all the way until their death. Christian growth focuses on loving God and loving others as the center of the Christian life.

6. The Church.

Church is a local group of Christians who commit to gather together for the purpose of worship, witness, discipleship, and fellowship.

7. Baptism & Lord’s Supper.

Baptism is the initiation to the church. It is symbolic of the death of our old life and the raising up of our new life. Baptism is by immersion.

Lord’s Supper is our continued identification with Christ. In taking the bread and the cup, we continue to proclaim Jesus death and resurrection.

8. Last Things.

The Bible teaches that this world will one day come to an end. According to His promise, Jesus Christ will return and judge the world. Those who rejected Christ will be rejected. Those who accepted Christ will live with Him forever.
